SYSTEM FOR MEASURING HYDROPLANING PERFORMANCE OF TIRE

PURPOSE: A system for measuring hydroplaning performance of tire is provided to reduce time needed for test by reducing number of repeating tests. CONSTITUTION: A system includes a trailer(20) towed by a towing vehicle(10) and having a test tire(22) driving on a moist test road surface(23) installed on one side thereof and a reference tire(21) driving on a normal road surface; a speed detector, a rotary encoder, detecting RPM of the test tire and the reference tire of the trailer and measuring speed to transmit signal; and a computer converting signal received from the speed detector by an A/D converter built therein to output a graph on speed of tire on a monitor screen.
