PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-calcined fluorescent color pencil lead having both a narrow and clear fluorescent line and a sufficient bending strength that has not been obtained by the previously known method. SOLUTION: This non-calcined fluorescent color pencil lead is prepared by kneading a compounded ingredient mainly comprising a bonding agent, a fluorescent coloring agent, a body material, and a lubricant and molding, and it contains as the body material at least partly a whisker shaped material having a refractive index of at most 1.8, preferably, an aluminum borate whisker.
