The invention concerns depilatory compositions, characterised in that they comprise, at least a tackifier, said tackifier(s) being selected among pure tackifying compounds and derivative and/or esterified tackifying compounds, at least a pH rectifying compound in an amount for neutralising, if needed, the acid functions of the tackifiers and providing the mixture with water-soluble properties, and at least a surfactant.
