摘要 <p>A method and an apparatus of approximately recording the sequential data of biological substances (nucleotides, amino acids, etc.) in a limited data volume. Text data showing the sequences of a column of nucleotides constituting the DNA of a standard sample E are converted into binary data in accordance with a definite conversion rule. Then the binary data are divided into partial data (A(i,j)) of m bits (m≥16) having a plural number of rows and a plural number of columns. Next, the partial data (A(i,j)) of each row are computed in the non-sequential direction on Galois field GF (2m) to determine the first parity group (B1(i) to B3(i)). Then, the partial data (A(i,j)) of each column are computed in the sequential direction on Galois field GF (2m) to determine the second parity group (C1(j) to C3(j)). From these parity data, the sequences of the nucleotides are approximately represented.</p>
