A light emitting device material comprising a compound represented by the following formula (1): <CHEM> wherein Ar<11>, Ar<21> and Ar<31> each represent an arylene group, Ar<12>, Ar<22> and Ar<32> each represent a substituent group or a hydrogen atom, provided that at least one among Ar<11>, Ar<21>, Ar<31>, Ar<12>, Ar<22> and Ar<32> has a condensed-ring arene or heteroarene structure, and Ar represents a trivalent arene or heteroarene group.
