[Also in Divisions C3 and C7] A plastics surface contacted with an emulsion comprising a solvent and a non-solvent, e.g. water, for the plastics. The Specification gives examples of solvents for the plastics. Emulsifying agents, e.g. lauryl sulphate, sorbitan tristearate, ethylene glycol, fatty acid esters, glycerol monostearate, tall oil fatty acid soaps, and calcium sulphate, may be added. An example refers to an emulsion of water, methylene chloride, O-dichlorobenzene, and a tall oil soap emulsifier containing 40%-45% rosin fatty acids.</p> |
