PURPOSE: A scooter having an electric engine is provided to make a piston moved reciprocatingly by electromagnetic force so as to generate power. CONSTITUTION: A scooter having an electric engine comprises an upper housing(2), a lower housing(4) mounted to the lower part of the upper housing, a rectilineal interlocking unit installed in the upper and the lower housings to be rectilineally reciprocated by electromagnetic force, a rotating motion unit mounted to the lower housing to convert the rectilineal reciprocating motion of the rectilineal interlocking unit to the rotating motion, a clutch unit connected to an end of the rotating motion unit to selectively connect the rotation force of the rotating motion unit to wheels, at least one electromagnet assembly(14) mounted to the up of the rectilineal interlocking and generating electromagnetic force to interlock the rectilineal interlocking unit, a controller(16) evenly applying power to at least one electromagnet assembly to make at least one electromagnet assembly generate an electromagnetic field alternately, and a differential gearing device receiving rotation force from the rotating motion unit and transmitting to the wheels. |
