PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impact energy absorbing structure capable of suppressing an injury value of each occupant by suitably absorbing impact energy from the multi-direction. SOLUTION: An energy absorber 15 having a shape of hollow section is accommodated in an internal space 20 as an energy absorbing space formed between an inner panel 13 and a garnish 14. The energy absorber 15 is formed into a hollow shape so as to protrude from the hollowed part of the energy absorber 15 and to comprise a mounting face 15b mounted to the inner panel. By forming thicknesses of the mounting face 15b and a colliding wall face 15a, which is an occupant's head colliding face of the energy absorber 15, heavier than those of others, the deformation mode of the energy absorber 15 can be made to match an impact within a collidable range, thus enabling to suitably absorb the colliding energy without depending on the colliding direction and to suppress the injury value of the occupant.
