PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof sheet for building which has an especially complete water shut off property, is further excellent in a waterproof property, water vapour permeability, anti-slip properties and the like, excellent in productivity and can be manufactured at a low cost. SOLUTION: The waterproof sheet for construction 1 is provided wherein a first piece of cloth 3 having a slip-proof layer 5 on an upper surface is bonded to an upper surface of a water vapour permeable waterproof film 2, a second piece of cloth 4 having a swelling layer 6 is bonded to an under surface of the water vapour permeable waterproof film 2, and the swelling layer 6 is laid between the film 2 and the cloth 4. Since the swelling layer properly absorbs permeating water to be swollen, the waterproof sheet for building having not only the waterproof property and the water vapour permeability but also the complete water shut-off property can be manufactured. Further, by forming the slip-proof layer, that of an excellent slide property can be obtained. Furthermore, since special material and the like are not required and the product can be manufactured by a general bonding method and the like, the waterproof sheet for building which is excellent in productivity and low in cost, can be manufactured.
