PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blower disposed on the left side of a vehicle while suppressing the increase in size of a casing which is used in common with a blower disposed on the right side of the vehicle. SOLUTION: The dimension W of the casing 22 is substantially constant from the wind-starting side of the casing 22 to the wind-ending side thereof, the fan reference line CLf passing through a substantially center part of the direction CL of the axis of rotation of a fan 20 is shifted to the inlet 23 side from the casing reference line CLc of the casing 22, and a flange part 21d of a motor holder 21a is located to a part shifted to one end side (the inlet 23 side) of the direction CL of the axis of rotation from the other end side of the direction CL of the axis of rotation of the casing 22. The shape of the casing 22 on the inlet 23 side can be prevented from being largely different from the shape on the motor 21 side thereby, and the casing 22 for a right-hand drive vehicle and the casing for a left-hand drive vehicle can be easily manufactured only by changing an insert core.
