PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transformed silkworm producing a recombinant human collagen as a part of a protein contained in cocoon and a method for producing the recombinant human collagen which the silkworm produces. SOLUTION: This invention relates to a transformed silkworm having a polynucleotide encoding human collagen in genome DNA and producing the recombinant human collagen as a part of the protein contained in cocoon or silk gland, a method for producing the recombinant human collagen from the transformed silkworm and a recombinant vector set used for preparation of the transformed silkworm.
