PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a cushioning member of a seat section of a chair used when a sick person or an old person takes, for example, a shower to be simply attached or detached. SOLUTION: The seat section 2 of the chair comprises a base plate 4, rising parts 6A, 6B, 6C and 6D provided at both side edges of the plate 4. The seat section 2 further comprises engaging holes 7 provided at predetermined positions of the plate 4, and the cushioning member 5 mounted on the plate 4. Thus, positioning protrusions 8 protruding from the lower surface of the member 5 are respectively engaged with the holes 7 of the plate 4. The right and left edges of the member 5 are fixed by the inner surfaces of the right and left rising parts 6A and 6B of the plate 4, and the front and rear edges are respectively fixed by the inner surfaces of the rising parts 6C and 6D of the front and rear edges of the plate 4. |
