<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser beam machine by which a stencil metal mask is manufactured by drilling, on a metallic plate, a round hole that is high in roundness, smooth in the periphery and variable in the diameter. SOLUTION: The machine is equipped with a laser beam source 1, an optical means 2 and a rotating means. The optical means deflects a laser beam emitted from the laser beam source, making the beam focused on a prescribed position of a workpiece, The rotating means rotates the optical means and deflects a reflection mirror that is deflectable. A laser beam thereby drills a round hole having a variable diameter. As a result, the diameter-variable round hole so drilled is high in roundness and smooth in the periphery.</p> |
