摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hemoglobin concentration measuring apparatus by which by using orange color or reddish orange color as the third wave length except conventional near infrared and red color, change in transmitted light caused by change in met- hemoglobin MetHb is detected under a condition with a good S/N ratio and discrimination between met-hemoglobin MetHb and reduced hemoglobin RHb is made easy and an appropriate measurement of the met-hemoglobin MetHb can be performed. SOLUTION: A light receiving means 6 in which a light source 3 emitting a light wave length in a reddish orange color region as the third wave length is used as a new light source and a light emitted from each light source and passing through or reflected from a living body tissue is received, an extinction degree ratio operating means 15 in which based on fluctuation of a received light outputting signal in each wave length from the light receiving means caused by pulsation of the blood, extinction degree ratiosΦamong wave lengths are operated and a concentration ratio operating means 16 by which based on output from the extinction degree ratio operating means, at least, concentration ratio between the reduced hemoglobin and the met-hemoglobin is operated are provided and the appropriate measurement of the met-hemoglobin MetHb can be performed and concentration displaying and alarm displaying of it can be respectively performed by a clinically effective and convenient system.</p>
