<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the need of an adjusting tape cassette and to easily enable rapid and accurate adjustment by rotatively driving a reel motor under the nonloading state of a tape at an initial value of a servo control value, measuring a frequency of a revolving speed detecting signal and adjusting a reel driving means accordingly. CONSTITUTION:When the reel motor is started up without loading a tape cassette, it is driven based on the initial value from an initial value generating part 29 set in an output storage part 26. At this time, since the tape cassette is not loaded, the initial value of the storage part 26 is not rewritten. An FG pulse generated by rotatively driving the motor 11 is supplied to a frequency counter FC, where a frequency is measured. Then, when the measured frequency falls within a specified value equivalent to a revolving speed corresponding to the initial value, this frequency is regarded as a proper value, and if it falls outside the specified value, a semifixed resistor RV is adjusted. By this method, adjusting work can efficiently be performed.</p> |
