varnish-and-paint industry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fluorescent pigments that can be used to paint plastics and manufacture bright-coloration advertising polymer films. Pigments are prepared by mixing luminophore and dye, heating, treating reaction mixture with acid, and drying. In particular, urea or melamine, benzenesulfonamide or p-toluenesulfonamide, urotropin are mixed with Rhodamin C or Rhodamin 6Zh (dye) in paraformaldehyde, after which luminophore is added. Dye is used in amount 1-3% of the total weight of mixture. Resulting mixture is further subjected to condensation reaction, while gradually raising temperature until the commencement of formation of gum-like products, after which hot mixture is treated oxalic acid solution and dinitriloazo-bis-isobutyric acid is added to pH 6-7.
