PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ferrite magnet powder, ferrite magnets, and applied products which are improved in magnetic properties at a low manufacturing cost and a method of manufacturing them. SOLUTION: Ferrite has a hexagonal M-type magnet plumbite structure in which a part of Sr, Ba, Pb, or Ca is substituted with La and at least an element which is selected from Y-containing rare earth elements and Bi, and at least an element selected from a group composed of Co, Ni, Mn, and Zn is added when the ferrite is micronized, the mixed micronized powder is calcined again and/or sintered into a ferrite magnet. A small amount of an element selected out of Co, Ni, Mn, and Zn is added when ferrite having a hexagonal M-type magnet plumbite structure already is micronized, so that the ferrite magnet can be improved in magnetic properties. |
