PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk loading mechanism for disk unit in which a blacklash never occurs without energizing a trigger member with a spring in disk clamping. SOLUTION: This disk loading mechanism for disk unit has a stopper 2b for stopping a disk 10 fed to a playing position, the stopper 2b is supported by a clamp arm 1 to be turned by being pushed by the disk 10 so as to turn a trigger member 2 for starting clamp operation around a spindle 2c with respect to the clamp arm 1 and is also turned vertically together with the clamp arm 1, and the spindle provided on one side of the trigger member and a chassis is fit into a hole 2d provided on the other side when the trigger member 2 is turned downward in disk clamping, the point of the spindle is provided with an inclination, and the trigger member 2 is turned so as to separate the stopper from the disk due to the contact of the inclination with the hole in disk clamping.
