PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that a large quantity of power consumption is used for fixing, a quantity of heat of a heating body 1 is transmitted through a film, which is not preferable, position relationship between the heating body 1 and a pressure-contact nip part is largely influenced by accuracy of parts such as a film guide, a fixing stay, a flange, and a fixing frame, and thereby dispersion of fixing efficiency, rising temperature in a machine, rising temperature in a non-paper inserted part occurs when the dispersion of the parts accuracy occurs. SOLUTION: This heating body is provided with a pad wherein an elastic body is covered with a tube, and a heat generating body disposed between the elastic body and the tube.
