摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact spring, which has a high spring limit value and is capable of securing conductive connection having a conductive coated membrane, and has appropriate hardness, and which is made of a low-cost iron-based alloy, and to provide its manufacturing method and an electron gun. SOLUTION: This is a contact spring 6, of which one end 6a is fixed to the shield cup 14 of the electron gun 5 of the cathode-ray tube 1, and the contact face 6b of the other end is brought into contact with the conductive coated membrane 4a, on the inner face of the neck part 4 of the cathode-ray tube 1. Its material is an iron-based alloy that contains 4.0 wt.%-4.6 wt.% of nickel, 16.5 wt.%-17.5 wt.% of chromium and 14 wt.%-15 wt.% of manganese. The manufacturing process of the contact spring 6 includes a process of implementing a rolling process, giving a reduction ratio of 15%-25% on the plate material 7 of the iron-based alloy, and as a result of this, the hardness becomes 300 Hv-400 Hv.
