PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil component to be connected to a transmission line such as a telephone line which is secured for insulation by preventing a short circuit between a primary winding and a secondary winding. SOLUTION: A stepped part which has a stair-like shape such that the height becomes lower from a recessed section 35 toward a side face end part of a lower end collar 21 and has a tapered section from the winding shaft 22 side toward the side face end part side of the lower end collar 21 is formed on a lower face of the lower end collar 21. An outgoing wire 30 is arranged from inside the recessed section 35 onto a stepped part 36, to be engaged with the stepped part 36. The outgoing wire 30 is disposed at a different level from an adjacent outgoing wire 30.
