Hydraulic control circuit for primary and secondary hydraulic loads in which the primary, load sensing, load is supplied with hydraulic fluid or compressed air ahead of the secondary load or loads that are controlled using load independent flow control. Hydraulic control circuit for a primary first hydraulic load with the pressure supply adjusted using a variable orifice plate and a pressure gauge with which a constant pressure is maintained across the plate and a secondary load with second variable orifice plate and pressure gauge with the pressure controlled by a feedback pressure space in the closing direction and by the pressure across the orifice plate in an opening direction. A priority valve (45) has a first connection (46) between the first pressure gauge (20) and the first orifice plate (17) and a second connection to the load transmission line (38) that is connected to the loading pressure of the second hydraulic load. The priority valve is a non-return valve.
