<p>A tote box (10) is disclosed which incorporates a box (14), four corner enhancers (18a-d) and a top rail (16) which is secured over the top edge of the erected walls of the box. In one embodiment, the box walls (22a,b; 26a,b) are held together with the corner enhancers (18a-d) and top rail (16) without the benefit of any mechanical fasteners such as rivets or the like. The top rail (16) is secured onto the box by an inwardly extending hook (98) on one of the channel side walls (94a,b) which engages grooves (30, 32) formed in the box walls. The top rail (16) has a vertical lip (84) which facilitates stacking multiple tote boxes.</p> |
