PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a releasing device for a sliding door lock ratching state and a production method thereof capable of reducing the number of components constituting the device as many as possible and accomplishing various purposes such as efficiency of manufacturing, reduction of a manufacturing cost, etc. SOLUTION: The a ratching state releasing device of a sliding door lock includes a handle 30 fixed to a sliding door and having a notch section 36 on the circumferential side wall 32 for a sliding door lock, a slide driving plate 50 accompanied by the handle through a second fixed shaft 38 projected to the bottom wall 35 of the handle and having a folding part 57 fitted into the notch section 36, a pulling means 60 combined with an engaging section 52 of the slide driving plate through a first fixed shaft 37 projected to the bottom wall 35 and convertibly moving a sickle piece temporary locking engaged piece 12 providing the oscillation of the slide driving plate 50 to the sliding door lock in the direction of releasing the engagement and a holding plate fixed to the back side of the handle so that the slide driving plate 50 or the pulling means 60 does not come off from the handle.
