PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording method and a recorder using dark and light inks in which both color reproduction and light fastness are satisfied by using dye and pigment in combination. SOLUTION: In the ink jet recording method and the recorder incorporating means suitable for that method, two kinds or more of dark and light recording inks of the same color are used for two or more different colors wherein dye ink is used for dark color and pigment ink is used for light color. Shift of color tone due to difference of color tone of the inks can be reduced by correcting the recording signal of each color depending on the difference of color tone between the dye ink and pigment ink. |
