PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize and simplify a two-dimensional scanning infrared temperature measuring device and reduce the cost thereof. SOLUTION: In this measuring device, an infrared element 8 is fixed to a Y-axial rotator 7 spherically movable by being rotatably mounted on an X-axial rotator 6, the rotation of a motor 11 around Z-axis is converted to the spiral movement of a flat gear 13 by an output shaft 12, the flat gear 13 and a cylindrical gear 15 with Z-axial center fitted thereto, and the spirally moving body is connected to the Y-axial rotator 7 that is a spherically moving body by a round bar 7f made of a material attracted by a magnet fixed to the Y-axial rotator 7. Accordingly, the infrared element 8 performs a spiral two-dimensional scanning by reciprocating and reversely rotating the motor 11 a prescribed number of frequency, whereby a small-sized, simple, highly reliable and inexpensive two-dimensional scanning infrared temperature measuring device can be realized.
