摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal tranfer recording method, a device and an intermediate medium by which an image is not affected, curling is less, a belt is easy to manufacture and can be used as an endless belt, and the image without defects can be obtained on an image receiving body while eliminating such problems that a coated film defect is reflected to the image due to the accumulation of the coated film powder of the intermediate medium on a thermal medium, the durability of the coated film decreases when the belt is formed into the endless belt, there is difficulty in the manufacture of the endless belt due to joints, and curling is generated by the formation of the coated film or the like, in the recording method and the intermediate medium, wherein the image receiving layer is formed on the intermediate medium, the image is recorded on the formed image receiving layer, and the image receiving layer on which the image has been recorded is transferred onto the image receiving body by the thermal medium. SOLUTION: The coated film is formed by a spray method, and baked at a temperature of 140 deg.C or higher for 10 minutes or longer. In this case, the coated film is constituted of a fluorine resin and a polyimide binder, and a base material of which the thermal shrinkage is 0.15% or lower is used. Alternatively, respective intermediate mediums wherein the coated film is not formed at bonded sections of joints are used for this thermal transfer recording method, the device and the intermediate medium.
