<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conductive organic thin film having the same or higher conductivity as or than that of a conductive metal such as gold or silver, to provide a method for producing the conductive organic thin film, and to provide a device or the like using the conductive organic thin film. SOLUTION: This conductive organic thin film is characterized in that one of organic molecules 34c contains a terminal bonding group covalently bonded to the surface of a substrate 38, a conjugated bond group existing at either portion of the organic molecule and polymerized with another molecule, and an active hydrogen-free polar functional group at any portion between the terminal bonding group and the conjugated bond group, wherein the organic molecules are arranged and the conjugated bond groups are polymerized to form a conductive network 35. The conductive organic thin film preferably has a conductivity (ρ) of >=1×10<7> S/cm in a dopant-free state at room temperature (25 deg.C). Especially, an electrolytic oxidation-polymerized polypyrrole or polythienylene conjugated bond film has high conductivity.</p> |
