PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for a roller having sufficient strength which can avoid risks of decrease in the yield due to fracture in the edge part of a rubber elastic layer during molding and which is easily controlled for the hardness, and to provide a conductive roller. SOLUTION: The conductive roller is manufactured by using a composition consisting of an oxyalkylene polymer having at least one alkenyl group which is capable of the hydrosililation reaction in the molecule, a compound having at least two hydrosilyl groups in the molecule, a catalyst for hydrosililation, a conductivity imparting agent and silica fine powder so as to realize the above purpose.
