PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-sensitive recording material with excellent storage stability with time of the ground skin. SOLUTION: In the heat-sensitive recording material provided with a heat- sensitive recording layer comprising an electron-donating color developing compound, an electron-accepting compound and a pigment, the heat-sensitive recording material in which as the electron-accepting compound, at least one compound selected from compounds expressed by general formula (1) is incorporated and as the pigment, a pigment with a pH of 6.0-9.5 in a 5% water suspension of the pigment is provided. (In the formula, R1-R5 are respectively a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkoxy group or a hydroxyl group and mutually adjoining groups selected from R1 and R2 and R2 and R3 may form a carbon cyclic aromatic ring by bonding together with the substituted carbon atoms.). |
