COMPOST HAVING DECOMPOSING EFFECT ON PCDDS(POLYCHLORINATED-DIBENZO-P-DIOXINS) AND METHOD FOR PREPARING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare compost which has a decomposing effect on hardly decomposable organic contaminants, such as PCDDs(polychlorinated-dibenzo-p-dioxins) and is capable of cleaning soil by decomposing the contaminants, such as the PCDDs, and to provide a method for preparing the compost for the purpose of surely obtaining the decomposition effect on the hardly decomposable organic contaminants, such as the PCDDs. SOLUTION: The compost having the decomposing effect on the PCDDs is prepared by (a) crushing accumulated plants and adjusting their moisture to effect primary fermentation by natural fermentation or force fermentation, then (b) adding PCDDs decomposing bacteria thereto under conditions of 5 to 45 deg.C of the temperature of the compost and a pH 6 to 9 and (c) effecting secondary fermentation by maintaining the compost under the conditions of 5 to 45 deg.C and pH 6 to 9 by natural fermentation or force fermentation.
