PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic flowmeter in which an electrode part in a measuring pipe with an installed coating material can be sealed surely. SOLUTION: The electromagnetic flowmeter is provided with a wet electrode hole which is formed in the measuring pipe and a pillar-shaped wet electrode which is inserted into the wet electrode hole and which comprises a flange part. The electromagnetic flowmeter is provided with the coating material which comprises a coating body installed on the inside diameter face of the measuring pipe, a tube connected to the coating body so as to cover the wet electrode hole and a turnup part connected to the tube part so as to cover the outer shape face of the measuring pipe around the wet electrode hole, a gasket part which is installed between the wet electrode and the turnup part, and a pressure means which presses the wet electrode to the gasket.
