PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in a conventional luminaire provided in an electric power tool wherein the luminaire can not be operated for ON/OFF in the condition that a worker holds the electric power tool with both hands and that the work is interrupted to turn a switch on/off, and to provide a lighting capable of turning the luminaire on/off without moving a hand holding an electric tool and without interrupting the work. SOLUTION: A lighting switch 12 is arranged in the inner surface 5 side of a front end of a cover body 5 for covering a front case of a reciprocating saw 1 at a position corresponding to a finger tip of the electric power tool holding hand so that the finger tip elastically deforms the cover body 5 to turn the lighting switch 12 on/off in the condition that the electric power tool is held. Since the lighting switch 12 is turned on/off by utilizing the electric power tool holding operation, the lighting can be turned on/off without interrupting the work.
