<p>There is disclosed a protective cap for a ball hitch (10) on automotive draw gear, where the cap is formed with a semi-spherical top (4) and a cylindrical skirt projecting down therefrom, which in the mounted position of the cap extends down past the ball head (10) and a length further on for covering the whole, or at least the upper end part, of the vertically oriented section of the drawbar (12) to which the ball (10) is attached, and that the lowermost ring area (6) of the skirt is formed by a slit (2) running almost the whole way around the skirt. Hereby is achieved that the cap, when using the ball hitch (10) for drawing, and when not covering the ball (10), remains inadvertently undetachable and without ability to rattle, connected with the drawbar. <IMAGE></p> |
