PURPOSE: A method for controlling a data packet transmission is provided to obtain a desired transmission speed by analyzing a pattern of transmission data, providing a priority of a packet according to the analyzed pattern, and primarily transmitting the packet to which the priority is provided. CONSTITUTION: If received data are included in a packet object list of a management information database, a packet matching module transmits a corresponding data packet to a shaping module(S111), defines the priority of the corresponding packet(S112), and registers the packet in a corresponding storing position of a shared buffer(S113). The shaping module checks the highest level packet recorded in the shared buffer and checks whether the packet is reached at a designated transmission speed(S114). When the packet is reached at a designated transmission speed, the shaping module transmits the corresponding packet(S115). The packet matching module records packet information including a kind of the data packet, and the importance and repetition degree of the data packet in a log database(S116), perform a statistics process(S117), and provides the processed statistics value to a web server(S118) so that a user confirms various information such as the importance and repetition degree of the currently transmitted data packet.
