PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescent X-ray analyzer which can carry out schedule controlling analysis automatically for managing analysis accuracy with limited burdens on workers. SOLUTION: This apparatus is provided with a preservation part 21 for preserving a check sample 3 with the known composition thereof closer to analysis samples, an automatic sample changer 20 having a moving mechanism 24 for moving the check sample 3 of the preservation part 21 to a sample feeding port 15 at a measuring part 11, a check sample analysis judging means 39 which judges whether the check sample 3 has been analyzed or not within a specified time T1 in the measurement of the analysis samples, a check sample movement control means 40 which moves the check sample involved to the X-ray analyzing position with the automatic sample changer 20 when the check sample is not analyzed within the specified time T1, and a first memory means 41 for storing the position of each check sample at the preservation part 21 of the automatic sample changer 20.
