METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR TREATING SPECIAL SHELL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating a special shell while preventing poison gas from spreading into the atmosphere during work by shielding the digging and treating site and a treating system of a special shell completely with a dome type tent or a pneumatic shield structure. SOLUTION: The digging and treating site of a special shell is shielded with a shield structure 5 and a shell is dug using an unattended shell digging means 18, e.g. a manipulator, disposed in the shield structure and then subjected to unattended treatment by shell treating means 25 and 13 disposed in the shield structure.
