PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer in which are provided wire connection ports, a radio communication device for transmitting and receiving data by radio communication, a reception data processing device for controlling received reception data, and a printing process mechanism for carrying out a printing process, a POS system, a method for controlling radio communication, and an information recording medium. SOLUTION: When receiving a display output request from a POS application 2, a virtual port emulation part 201 retrieves information on the wire connection port 222 of the printer 121 related to a virtual port COM5 for display information, and transmits display information with the retrieved information added to the printer 111 via a physical port COM1. Reception information received via the wire connection port 212 of the printer 111 is sorted at the reception data processing device 215, and is radio transmitted via the radio communication device 211 to the printer 121. Reception information radio received via the radio communication device 221 is sorted at the reception data processing device 225 and transmitted via the wire connection port 222 to a display device 122. The display device 122 displays received information, namely, display information from the POS application 2. |
