PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage and transport container which is simple in structure and accommodative to storing and transporting dangerous articles and also to provide a method for filling into and discharging out of the storage and transport container. SOLUTION: A hollow container 1 with its both ends opened is used. Parts at least at both ends of the hollow container 1 are formed of a flexible material and made to serve as foldable tubes 2. On filling materials into the hollow container 1 or on discharging the materials out of the hollow container 1, the foldable tubes 2 of the hollow container 1 are opened.
