PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the image quality of exposure images of an image exposure device. SOLUTION: There are provided in the image exposure device, a beam scanning means BS for scanning an exposure light beam LB in a horizontal scanning direction to a photographic material, an optical sensor 7 for detecting that the exposure light beam LB is applied to a set position in its scanning range, and an exposure control means EC for controlling an exposure timing of image information by the beam scanning means BS on the basis of a detect signal of the optical sensor 7. A noise resistance improvement means NR is set to the image exposure device for improving the resistance to extraneous noises in the detect signal received from the optical sensor 7 by the exposure control means EC.
