STEREOMICROSCOPE HAVING LIGHT SHIELDING DEVICE FOR IMAGE INPUT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereomicroscope which improves the flexibility of observation means and enables a user to selectively change over undesired observation image channels without increasing additional optical paths and a physical structure. SOLUTION: This stereomicroscope, such as, above all, a stereosurgical microscope has main objective lens, the left and right side optical paths and a main observation port. At least one insertion incident beam splitter and at least one separation exit beam splitter are assigned to at least one main optical path. Further, the microscope has at least one first changeable over light shielding device for shutting off object information which is preposed in the insertion incident beam splitter for inputting additional information. At least one second changeable over light shielding devices (18a and 18b) are assigned between the separation exit beam splitters (12a and 12b) and the main observation ports (21a and 21b) of at least one main optical paths (2a and 2b) and one insertion incident beam splitter (11a and 11b) is disposed in each of the main optical paths (2a and 2b).
