摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems in a conventional shifting gear unit that the whole shifting gear unit becomes too large if a device for rearranging gears is provided separately in the shifting gear unit and power consumption becomes too large if gear shifting is performed using a device for gear shifting provided separately in, for example, a solar car. SOLUTION: This shifting gear unit is provided with a speed reduction mechanism G in which an angular speed is transmitted to an output shaft 4 as it is when an input shaft 2 rotates forward, the rotation around a shaft axis 10 of a support member 20 is stopped when the input shaft 2 rotates in the other direction, and each planetary gear 14 rotates forward on the spot to reduce an angular speed of the input shaft 2 and transmit it to the output shaft 4 so as to reduce the angular speed of the input shaft 2 and transmit it to the output shaft 4 without using a special device for rearranging gears so that a necessity that the device for rearranging gears is separately provided in the shifting gear unit 1 is eliminated and the shifting gear unit has a simple configuration to prevent the whole shifting gear unit from becoming large.
