PURPOSE: A load handling trolley is provided to prevent the wear of a track generated by contacting a load engager to the side of the track by having a plurality of rolling members located to a trolley to engage with an opposite side of the track having a channel and a relieving installed to a lower edge of the load engager to house the rolling members in the load engager being at a descending position. CONSTITUTION: In a load handling trolley used for a track having a channel including at least a bogie(3) having rollers(5) supporting a trolley to longitudinally move in the track and a load engager(1) installed to move between ascending and descending positions for one bogie, the load engager includes an inversed channel part and at least one bogie has a pair of separated side frames. At least one upper part of the side frames has a dimension fitted in the inversed channel part at least in the descending position. Multiple rolling members(31), which are engaged with a side wall opposed to the track in using, are provided to the trolley. The lower end of the load engager has a relieving housing the rolling members when the load engager is at the descending position.
