PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding chair preventing horizontal deviation when being stacked flat in being unused, prevented from being bulky, and being mutually connectable adjoining left/right chairs in being used. SOLUTION: This folding chair 100 is provided with a front leg 11 having a backrest 14 in the upper part, a rear leg 12 having its upper end part pivotally mounted to the front leg 11 and the lower end part connected to the front leg 11 via a connecting rod 15 inserted in an opening end, and a seat part 13 pivotally mounted on the front leg 11 and the rear leg 12. This folding chair is characterized in that a pair of projecting part and protruded recess part are oppositely formed in the front/rear side surfaces of the connecting rod 15.
