PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair, with which especially the aged or physically handicapped can safely and easily rise from the bed and sit down on a chair placed by the side alone. SOLUTION: This chair is composed of a seat part 2, a leg part 3 supporting this seat part 2, and backrests and handrails 4 and 5 provided on two adjacent sides 7 and 8 around the outer periphery of the seat part 2.
