OPTICAL SETTLEMENT SYSTEM FOR AUTOMATICALLY LEVYING BUS/TAXI FARE

PURPOSE: An optical settlement system for automatically levying a bus/a taxi fare is provided to store payment information in a portable terminal to which an optical transceiver is attached and automatically levy a bus or a taxi fare through the portable terminal. CONSTITUTION: A portable terminal(540) transmits card information as an optical signal. An RF(Radio Frequency) terminal(550) has an optical transceiver(551), receives the optical signal, extracts card information from the received optical signal, levies a fare, and records levy items. A transmission terminal(542) connects to the RF terminal(550) and collectively transmits the recorded levy items for settlement process.
