PURPOSE: A device and a method for debugging according to a transition state of the data are provided to debug a processor by observing the data conversion while monitoring a specific address of a data memory and outputting the address and the data having the relation to the data conversion. CONSTITUTION: A processor core(23) is operated by a program stored in a program memory(24). A debugger eliminating part(21) eliminates the processor core by receiving a command from a host computer(20) carrying out debugging. A breakpoint detecting part(22) observes the address of the program memory used by the processor core by receiving the breakpoint address from the host computer through the debugger eliminating part and sends a signal to the debugger eliminating part by detecting the debugger breakpoint if the same address is detected. The data memory(25) stores the data of the processor core. A memory break controller(26) stops the operation of the processor core by sending the signal to the debugger controller when a target address is detected and outputs the corresponding address and data through the debugger controller.
