PURPOSE: A system and method for managing a member using a multi-stage additional point is provided to induce a recommender to make the lower member recommend new member by supplying a profit of an additional point endowment to the upper recommender. CONSTITUTION: A member information database(20) stores general information of a member and a recommender. A management information database(30) judges whether an additional point is supplied until the upper 'M'th grade recommender in accordance with a grade of a member and a grade change of a member. A recommender information search control unit(40) searches information of a recommender searched from the database(20) and supplies the information to a recommender additional point calculation control unit(50) with information of a management information database. A recommender who received an additional point updates a recommended person in a recommendation upper stage control unit(60) and supplies information to a control unit for searching the upper recommender and endowing a recommender additional point. The process for searching a recommender is repeated until the upper 'M'th grade recommender, and an endowed additional point is updated in the member information database(20) through a recommender update and information search control unit(70).
