METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING SHORT MESSAGE ACCORDING TO CALL FAILURE IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL

PURPOSE: A method for transmitting a short message according to call failure in a mobile communication terminal is provided to transmit the short message to a recipient in case that the recipient using an other mobile communication terminal does not receive a call. CONSTITUTION: An MSM judged whether a certain transmission mode is selected according to the key selection of a user through a key input unit(S10). If an SMS(Short Message Service) automatic mode is selected, the MSM calls an other mobile communication terminal through an RF(Radio Frequency) transmitting and receiving unit(S20). The MSM transmits a previously designated short message to the other mobile communication terminal according to the call failure of the other mobile communication terminal(S30). If an SMS manual mode is selected, the MSM calls the other mobile communication terminal through the RF transmitting and receiving unit(S40). The MSM transmits a short message selected by the user to the other mobile communication terminal(S50).
