APPARATUS FOR CLEARING DUST AND GAS OF PAINTING BOOTH

PURPOSE: An apparatus for clearing dust and gas of painting booth is provided, which removes dust and gas from gas stream by passing the gas through water film formed by suction force of a suction fan and saw tooth slightly merged into to water level. Moisture contained in treated gas is removed by rotatably installed baffles rather than any filter, thus saving operation and maintenance cost. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises a main tower(3) having a water basin at the bottom; a water film forming part(13) of a saw tooth type partially touched to the water level of the water basin for forming water film to primarily remove dust contained in gas; a dust collecting part(14) set at the rear of the water film forming part(13) and formed as a semicircle for secondarily removing dust and gas from the gas stream; a plurality of baffles(16) which are inclinedly and rotatably installed at the inner wall of the main tower(3) with the ends intercepting each other for removing moisture from the treated gas; and a waster supplying and discharging lines.
